Ideas for the Mambu Banking Engine

Backdating Transfer transactions

Currently in Mambu one can backdate Withdrawals, Deposits and Repayment Transactions, but not Transfers.

Transfers are extensively used for different business cases (payment of loan from savings account, transfers between clients’ deposit accounts etc.) - therefore, it should be possible to backdate them, so that organizations which process their transactions with a slight delay of 1 or 2 days can do so.

We have found use cases where we need to backdate the funding of a Fixed Deposit through a transfer from deposit account but it is currently not possible. Please can the scope include transfers from deposit accounts to loans as well as fixed deposit accounts.

We would also need to be able to track the date we made the backdated transaction. Like a credit card statement showing the Transaction date and the Date.
